How to find the right class action

In most class action lawsuits, everyone who has been injured in the way described in the lawsuit is automatically included in the class action, so there is no need to join a class. How class action lawsuits work

A class action lawsuit in a civil lawsuit that is brought by one person or a few people on behalf of a larger group of people who have suffered similar harm or have a similar claim. Class actions can be brought in either federal or state courts, though a recent federal law, the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005, makes it easier for defendants to move class action lawsuits from state to federal courts.

Walmart Asks U.S. Supreme Court To Hear Appeal Of Gender Discrimination Class
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The nation's largest retailer on Aug. 25 filed a petition for writ of certiorari asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a California federal judge's decision to certify a class of more than 1 million current and former female Walmart employees who claim that the company discriminated against them based on their gender (Wal-Mart Stores Inc. v. New Jersey Judge Certifies Class Of Real Estate Agents In Contract Dispute
