Idaho Top Court: Clock Begins Running On Wrongful Death Action At Death
BOISE, Idaho - Idaho's wrongful death statute provides for a separate cause of action for which the two-year statute of limitations begins running at the decedent's death, the Idaho Supreme Court held Aug. 18 (Mildred Castorena, et al. v. Miss. High Court: Judge Acted Properly In Finding Parties Settled Asbestos Claims
JACKSON, Miss. - A judge acted within his discretion in concluding that a railroad and asbestos plaintiffs reached a settlement of asbestos claims and not simply a method for resolving the cases on a case-by-case basis, a divided Mississippi Supreme Court held Aug. 26 (Illinois Central Railroad Co. v.
